I was immediately drawn in by the description-"Tropical. Vibrant. Innovatively Fermented."-and this coffee absolutely delivers. The Pineapple Express is truly one of the most exciting and complex coffees I've tried this
year.
Right away, the intense tropical fruit notes hit you. The dried mango and bright apple are perfectly balanced by a lovely, winey acidity that keeps the flavor vibrant without being overpowering. As the cup cools, the smoother notes of vanilla and a subtle caramel sweetness round out the finish, making for an incredibly nuanced and satisfying experience.
If you love unique, fruit-forward fermentation processes, this medium roast is a must-try. Korebi has captured something truly special here-it's a coffee that makes every morning feel like a bright, sunny escape. I will definitely be ordering this microlot again!
I bought Korebi Coffee whole beans as a surprise for my husband, who is very particular about his coffee. He usually sticks to Blue Tokai and even gets his own custom blends, so I wasn’t sure how he’d take to something new. To my surprise—and his—he really liked it! He mentioned the flavor was smooth, fresh, and well-balanced. It’s not easy to impress him when it comes to coffee, so this was a win. Glad I took the chance with Korebi—definitely worth it!
Ive been having it daily...great body and flavor.
Used it for South Indian filter..cme out very clean and tasty.
Its good but not extraordinary. Expected a bit more depth.
